PHILADELPHIA -- Allen Iverson had 45 points and 11 assists to lead Philadelphia.
Samuel Dalembert added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Sixers, who took over down the stretch in a matchup of Eastern Conference division leaders.
Shaquille O'Neal scored 24 points and Dwyane Wade had 17 points and 11 assists for the Heat, who were coming off a 29-point win the night before against New Orleans.
Bulls 107, Hawks 82
ATLANTA -- Eddy Curry scored 19 points, five of his Chicago teammates also reached double figures and the Bulls surged over .500 for the first time in more than two years with a rout of Atlanta.
The woeful Hawks led 24-23 in the first quarter but the Bulls outscored Atlanta 35-12 in the second period.
Early on, Chicago appeared to be headed for another dismal season in the post-Michael Jordan era. The Bulls lost 14 of their first 17 games, but they've gone 17-5 since to improve to 20-19.
Timberwolves 86, Pistons 83
MINNEAPOLIS -- Kevin Garnett had 22 points and nine rebounds, and the backups came up big again for Minnesota.
Reserves Wally Szczerbiak (15 points), Eddie Griffin (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Fred Hoiberg (nine points) helped Minnesota win its third straight.
Chauncey Billups had 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists against one of the many teams he used to play for, but the Pistons dropped their fourth consecutive game despite a 51-36 rebounding edge.
Rockets 89, Magic 78
HOUSTON -- Yao Ming had 22 points and 10 rebounds, Jon Barry scored 19 and Houston beat Orlando despite playing without leading scorer Tracy McGrady.
The Rockets won their third straight and completed a two-game season sweep of the Magic in five days.
McGrady, who scored 27 points in a win at Orlando on Thursday, wasn't around for the rematch because of a medical emergency in his family. Team officials weren't sure where he was going or how long he would be away.
Barry picked up the scoring slack with a season-high point total off the bench and Bob Sura added 15 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, helping the Rockets move a season-best four games over .500 (23-19).
