Clark records milestone win



Sebring coach won his 100th game with a 75-40 victory over Crestview.
SEBRING -- Sebring High boys basketball coach Brian Clark won his 100th game with the Trojans on Friday night, a 75-40 victory over Crestview.
Clark is 100-31 in five seasons at the Tri-County League school.
The Trojans (12-1, 8-0 TCL) jumped out to a 22-5 lead in the first quarter.
Joe James led Sebring with 23 points and seven rebounds. Joe Amabeli scored 19 points and had a team-high 12 rebounds, and Dan Scarpitti scored 15 points with seven assists.
Anthony Amabile scored 11 points to lead Crestview (4-10, 3-5).
United 48, Columbiana 42
COLUMBIANA -- Rob Muhleman led a balanced United attack with 10 points. The Golden Eagles outscored Columbiana 21-13 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory.
Bubba Taylor added nine points and a team-high 11 rebounds for United (7-5, 4-4 TCL). Jake Roelen scored eight points and Tyler Boyle had two assists.
Jared Patton and Eric Bailey topped the Clippers (8-5, 5-3) with 13 points apiece. Eric Ostrander had six points and six rebounds, and Dave Vitko had three assists.
Lisbon 48, East Palestine 36
EAST PALESTINE -- Lisbon moved into sole possession of the second place in the TCL and has a date at Sebring on Tuesday night.
The Blue Devils (10-3, 6-2 TCL) trailed 12-10 after one quarter, but outscored East Palestine 10-5 in the second quarter and 12-4 in the third period to take control.
Marcus Judy had 18 points and seven assists for Lisbon; Tim McClester had 11 points and six rebounds. Steve Tsilimos had a pair of steals.
Brett Young tossed in 13 points to lead East Palestine (2-12, 2-6).
Southern 70, Leetonia 41
LEETONIA -- Aaron Blatch scored 17 points and Josh Diaz added 16 for Southern.
Diaz also had nine rebounds and David Earich added seven for the Indians (7-7, 4-4 TCL). Nick Puckett had five assists.
Leetonia (2-11, 0-8) was led by Corey Rausechenbach, who scored nine points.
Springfield 59, South Range 41
NORTH LIMA -- Aaron Wood scored 15 points as Springfield moved to within a half-game lead of first place in the Inter-County League.
Zach DeJane added 13 points and a team-best 11 rebounds for the Tigers (9-3, 5-1 ICL). Mason McCambridge added six assists.
South Range (4-7, 1-5) was led by Dan Holloway, who scored 15 points, and Josh Less and David Rach, who added 10 apiece.
Lowellville 49, Jackson-Milton 37
LOWELLVILLE -- Mario Nero tossed in 16 points and made four 3-pointers to lead Lowellville in an ICL game.
Vinnie Broll added 13 points for the Rockets (9-6, 4-3 ICL), and Rocky Nolfi had 10 rebounds.
Nick Kaley and Mark Balent scored 10 points each for Jackson-Milton (5-10, 1-6).
