Junes celebrate their 60th anniversary

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Lewis June of Youngstown were honored Dec. 11 at a catered dinner party held at the home of their granddaughtger, Madonna Barwick, in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Hosting the event were their daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and David Barwick of Youngstown, and in attendance were their two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. June and the former Gertrude Pacholec were married Dec. 11, 1944, in Elkton, Md.
Mrs. June is a homemaker, and her husband retired in 1987 from General Fireproofing Co. after 40 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II.
The couple are members of St. Stanislaus Church.
