GlenOak hands Boardman first league loss



CANTON -- The Federal Leauge just got a little tighter.
Jess Delagrange scored 11 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter to lead Canton GlenOak to a come-from-behind 48-44 win over Boardman, handing the Spartans thier first league loss.
GlenOak (10-4, 4-2) trailed 32-29 entering the fourth quarter. Delagrange went 6-for-6 from the line, and hit a 3-pointer and a 2-pointer in the final quarter. As a team, the Eagles went 12-for-14 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
Jessica Moore led Boardman (9-2, 5-1) with 16 points and Colleen Mallis added 13.
Struthers 50, Alliance 33
STRUTHERS -- Cole Robenolt tallied a game-high 15 points to lead Struthers (4-9, 4-2) in the MAC matchup. Halle Minchinskook added 12 points for the Wildcats which pulled away with a 15-6 third-quarter run.
Megan Griger and Felisha Jones paced Alliance (1-12, 1-5) with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Howland 42, Poland 34
POLAND -- Howland outscored the hosts 27-15 in the second half to pick up the MAC win.
Carly Sabat and Alexa Williams each scored 1o points for Howland (8-4).
Alex Rokicki paced Poland (3-9) with 11 points.
