XAKRON -- A reception at the University of Akron ballroom honored James Rosko and his bride, the former Stephanie Vezzani, following their marriage Dec. 11 at St. Paul Catholic Church.
The Rev. Neil Crosby officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Helen and Dennis Vezzani, 96 Cheltenham Lane, Munroe Falls, and the son of Rosemary and Thomas Rosko, 1306 Mere Court, Boardman.
The bride was wearing a strapless, princess-style gown of white satin designed with a corset back and adorned with Swarovski crystals, pearls and bugle beads.
Matrons of honor were Melanie Julius and Wendy Anderson, the bride's sisters. Bridesmaids were Sharon Sanitra, Jennifer Niemira and Erica Truitt. They wore silver gowns. Her nieces, Taylor and Sarah Anderson, were flower girls.
Brian and Gregory Rosko were best men for their brother. Groomsmen were David Mortland, Jeffrey Kadlub and the groom's cousin, Stephen DiBacco.
The couple live at 125 S. Jefferson St., Chicago, after returning from a wedding trip to Hawaii.
The bride is a special agent with the U.S. Secret Service in Chicago. She graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in sociology and law enforcement.
The groom, a site coordinator/-physical therapist for Health South in Chicago, earned his bachelor's degree in sports medicine at John Carroll University, his master's at the University of Akron and a degree in physical therapy at Cleveland State University.
