XCOLUMBIANA -- Married at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at Grace United Church of Christ were Kristi Lynn Schmidt, daughter of Patricia and James Schmidt, 132 Colonial Drive, Canfield, and Sean Patrick Gray, son of Carole and Rick Gray, 401 Chatsworth Lane, Canfield.
The Rev. Mike Boehm and the bride's uncle, Arthur Schmidt, presided, and a reception followed at The Embassy in Youngstown.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, and are living in Chapel Hill, N.C. The bride, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, is a seventh-grade math teacher with Orange County Schools in Hillsborough, N.C. The groom earned his bachelor's in exercise science at Ohio State University and is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree at the University of North Carolina.
The bride wore a strapless gown of organza over satin embellished with crystals, pearls and embroidery.
Her sister, Lindsey Schmidt of Canfield, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Heather Guarnera of Ladera Ranch, Calif., the groom's sister; Alyssa Ferris of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and Cristie Whitley of Durham, N.C.
Jeff Dieter of Zanesville was best man, and groomsmen were Dan Ullman of Cincinnati; Brian Donally of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Matt Kirtley of Boston; Dan Deangelo of Los Angeles; Andy Guarnera of Ladera Ranch, the groom's brother-in-law; and Dave Gestosani of Columbus. Ring bearer was Jacob Koehler of Syracuse, N.Y., the bride's cousin.
