LINCOLN, Neb. -- Jelena Spiric made all eight of her free throws in the third overtime, Kiera Hardy scored a career-high 37 points and the Cornhuskers defeated Baylor. Nebraska (11-4, 3-0 Big 12) won its fifth straight and defeated a Top 5 opponent for the first time in program history. Baylor (12-2, 2-1 Big 12) had its 12-game win streak end. Hardy made jump shots to force the second and third overtimes. The Huskers were 25-of-30 from the free throw line in the extra periods and made a school-record 46 of 54 for the game. Spiric, who had 19 points and nine rebounds, made six free throws to give Nebraska the lead for good at 93-90. Nebraska secured the win in the last 15 seconds with two free throws by Jina Johansen and two more by Elena Diaz. Sophia Young led the Bears with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Charde Houston had 19 points, Ashley Battle added 15 points and Connecticut held Notre Dame to 29 percent shooting in the second half to beat the Irish. It was Connecticut's first win over a ranked opponent this season and allowed the Huskies (9-4, 3-0 Big East) to avoid consecutive losses for the first time since the final two games of the 1992-93 season. The Irish (13-3, 2-2) lost back-to-back games for the first time since early last January. Ann Strother added 13 points and Mel Thomas had 10 for the Huskies. Notre Dame's Jacqueline Batteast, the second-leading scorer in the Big East at 19.1 points a game, was held to eight points on 2-of-12 shooting.

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Alesha Robertson scored 22 of her game-high 26 points in the second half and Texas Tech defeated Texas. Cisti Greenwalt scored 14 of her 18 points in the first half, while Chesley Dabbs scored 19 for Tech (12-2, 3-0 Big 12). Tiffany Jackson led Texas (8-5, 1-2) with 20 points -- 18 in the second half -- and Bowers scored 14.

BOSTON -- Kathrin Ress scored a career-high 28 points and Boston College beat Villanova for its 11th straight game. The victory moved the Eagles (12-1, 3-0 Big East) within one win of their school-record 12-game winning streak, set during the 1999-2000 season. Aja Parham posted a career-best 17 points for BC. Jessalyn Deveny added 12 points and Brooke Queenan 11. Jennifer Hilgenberg led the Wildcats (9-5, 2-1) with 15 points and Kate Dessart Mager had 13.

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Anne O'Neal had 18 points and nine rebounds as Iowa State dealt Kansas its third straight loss to a ranked opponent. Katie Robinette and Mary Fox each added 11 points for Iowa State (13-1, 3-0 Big 12), ranked in the Top 25 for the first time since Nov. 25, 2002. Taylor McIntosh finished with eight points and eight rebounds, and Kaylee Brown also scored eight points for Kansas (7-7, 0-3).
