CANFIELD -- Four Canfield High School students had their cars broken into and property stolen from the cars while they were parked at the school, police said Monday.
The thefts occurred in less than two hours last week, according to police department reports.
Nearly $1,000 worth of property, including CD players and clothing, were reported stolen between 8:05 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., according to the reports.
All four cars were locked and no arrests had been made, a police spokeswoman said Monday.

Woman bilked in scam
WARREN -- A 31-year-old Transylvania S.E. woman is out $1,700 after being the victim of a lottery scam.
The woman recently reported a case of passing bad checks to city police. She had received initial notice of winning a lottery, the type of which was not specified, with an initial check of $1,800 -- which she cashed.
She later mailed $1,700 back to the lottery company and was awaiting receipt of her "final winnings." The $1,700 check was returned as fraudulent, and now she owes that amount to a financial institution.
