XThe program will be "Attracting Butterflies to Your Backyard" when Daphne members meet at 10 a.m. at Poland United Methodist Church.
XIkebana will hold a meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens. A shrub (line material) plant sale will be held. Evelyn Resek will have the Chico demonstration, and the design will be slanting using a tall container.
WEDNESDAY
XMahoning will meet at noon at Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Members may take a sack lunch or buy it in the cafe. The program will be a crescent moon by Florence Highfield, president of Youngstown Area Weavers Guild. Hostesses will be Evelyn Resek and Marian Glover.
THURSDAY
XGarden Forum will hold a board meeting at 9:30 a.m.
XSt. Charles will have a program
on fresh flower arrangements. Hostesses will be Patty Marion, Ann Benson Mastriana and Rose Matasy.
XThe public is invited to a program at 7 p.m. at the Davis Center planned by Sweetbriar. Speaker will be Pat Martines of the Mahoning Valley Rose Society. Beverly Sharnek is hostess.
XGarden club events are published Sundays. The deadline is noon Thursday.
