COLLEGE ROUNDUP Baldwin-Wallace wins big over Mount Union



The Yellow Jackets advanced to the Ohio Conference championship game.
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- Tori Davis scored 18 points, and Baldwin-Wallace cruised to victory, 85-50, over Mount Union in the semifinals of the Ohio Conference tournament Friday night.
His brother Thad Davis added 12 points and 11 rebounds to help the Yellow Jackets (19-8) outrebound the Purple Raiders 43-31.
Baldwin-Wallace also hit 53 percent of its shots while holding Mount Union (14-13) to 33 percent.
Chris Blakely led Mount Union with 15 points, and Kyle Karpinski scored 13.
Brendan Schuler added 11 points and Tom Harrington scored 10 for the Yellow Jackets, who advanced to face John Carroll in the championship game.
Seton Hill 83, Geneva 78, OT
LATROBE, Pa. -- Geneva rallied from a 14-point deficit to force overtime, but Seton Hill scored eight straight points in the extra session to take control.
Stefan Grundberg scored 17 points to lead the Golden Tornadoes (19-12), while Tim Sawyer added 15.
Dimitar Simvoski had 19 points for Seton Hill (20-7).
Women
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster advanced to the Presidents' Athletic Conference title game for the first time by defeating Grove City, 63-54, in a foul-plagued contest.
The deciding factor was at the foul line, where Westminster made 29-of-41 to just 15-of-17 for Grove City. Erica Tallo posted game-high totals of 17 points and 12 assists for the Titans, while Desiree Sterling added 14 points.
For the Wolverines, Abby Moose led the way with 12 points before fouling out.
Washington & amp; Jefferson 84,Thiel 40
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Presidents rolled to a 43-15 halftime lead and never looked back as they advanced to the PAC title game.
W & amp;J did much of its damage on the glass, as the Presidents outrebounded Thiel 61-37. Five W & amp;J players scored in double figures, paced by Lauren Slampak with a game-high 19 points.
Amanda Stanonik added 13 points, while Tara Wilmus dished out five assists.
Thiel was paced by Nicole Valentino with 10 points.
W & amp;J and Westminster will play at 2 p.m. Saturday in Washington, Pa.
