Feb. 16
Criminal damaging: A man reported $60 in damage done to his apartment's entry door and door jamb in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard.
Theft: A man in the 400 block of Brookfield Avenue reported his truck had been broken into and $1,078 was removed from a lock box.
Criminal damaging: A man reported $75 in damage to the lawn and a landscaping wall at his home in the 1400 block of Walker Mill Road.
Theft: An employee at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St., reported a $1,300 computer missing from a classroom.
Burglary: A woman in the 8100 block of Hitchcock Road reported someone had entered her home through an unlocked door and took five prescriptions and a $150 XBox game system.
Theft: A Columbiana man reported his wallet stolen from a locker at the YMCA, 45 McClurg Road.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Warren man left Jillian's Entertainment in the Southern Park Mall and found his car had been broken into. A $350 stereo was reported taken.
Recovered property: A man in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road turned over to police a black-and-pink mountain bike he found near his residence.
Theft: Police arrested a 79-year-old Youngstown man after three packages of stickers were stolen from Hobby Lobby, 472 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: A Boardman man, 44, was apprehended near Interstate 680 and U.S. Route 224 on a warrant charging him with breaking and entering and driving under the influence.
Arrest: Officers arrested a 29-year-old Boardman man at Panda Garden, 5122 Market St. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with probation violation on charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 17
Arrest: A 41-year-old Cortland man was picked up on a warrant from Boardman charging him with one count of robbery.
Arrest: Police arrested a 20-year-old Boardman man in the 600 block of Tam O' Shanter Drive on a warrant charging him with assault. The suspect's girlfriend told police he assaulted her and stole $80 from her.
Domestic violence: A Boardman man, 29, was arrested in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue on a domestic-violence charge after his girlfriend said he threatened to kill her.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: Officers arrested a 37-year-old Hubbard man in the 60 block of Indianola Road on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A woman at a residence there said she recovered her 2005 Olds Alero after reporting it had been stolen.
Theft: A woman in the 8100 block of Stadler Avenue reported 20 checks and various personal papers stolen from her vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported someone did $200 in damage to her mailbox in the 7700 block of Silver Fox Drive.
Theft/criminal damaging: A man reported his car's passenger-side door lock damaged at his residence in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road. An in-dash compact-disc player and a box for a 300-watt set of speakers were reported stolen.
Auto theft: A man in the 7400 block of West Boulevard reported his 1997 Cadillac DeVille stolen.
Assault: A girl, 17, reported being struck in the face and threatened with physical harm at her residence in the 7400 block of Sierra Madre Trail.
Auto theft: A woman told police her 1987 Chevy Astro van containing 25 CDs was missing from her home in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue.
Feb. 18
Aggravated menacing: Police were called to a disturbance in the 900 block of Cook Avenue after two people argued about a parking space. One man reported being threatened with a knife.
Criminal damaging: A Brookfield woman left Applebee's Restaurant, 6691 South Ave., and reported $300 in damage had been done to her car's rear passenger-side window.
Misuse of a credit card: A North Lima woman reported her credit card had been used at Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road, and at the Southern Park Mall without permission.
Auto theft: A Struthers woman reported her 1991 Olds Cutlass Ciera stolen from the Aerolite Extrusion Co., 4605 Lake Park Road.
Auto theft: A North Lima man left Movie Gallery, 1393 Boardman-Poland Road, and reported his 1995 Toyota 4-Runner missing.
Burglary: A woman reported numerous items missing from her home in the 100 block of North Cadillac Drive after someone broke in.
Arrest: An 18-year-old Boardman man was arrested near Thalia Avenue and Lake Park Road on charges of underage possession of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Police say they found three beers in the car.
Theft: Police arrested a woman, 18, and a girl, 15, both from Youngstown, after four belts, five shirts, three tops, two jackets and two pairs of glasses were reported stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall, The loss came to about $268.
Feb. 19
Attempted robbery: An employee at Walgreen Pharmacy, 7295 Market St., told police a man with a metal pipe forced his way into an office hallway. Officers arrested a 47-year-old Boardman man, although no charges had been filed against him.
Auto theft: An employee at Lone Star Steakhouse & amp; Saloon, 1738 Boardman-Poland Road, reported his 1999 Dodge Durango was stolen while he was at work.
Feb. 20
Arrest: Police arrested a Boardman boy, 12, on two felony counts -- one each of breaking and entering and theft.
Burglary: A man in the 5400 block of Lemoyne Avenue reported $300 missing after someone broke into his home through a first-floor rear door.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman reported the lock tumblers in her vehicle had been removed while she was at Burlington Coat Factory, 461 Boardman-Canfield Road. A $500 amplifier, two speakers, $100 worth of clothing and a Game Boy Advance game system were stolen.
Theft/criminal damaging: A woman in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road reported a $10 wreath had been removed from her front door, and that a metal mailbox was damaged.
Burglary/attempted burglary: A man in the 70 block of Homestead Drive reported forced entry had been made to his home, and that a door was damaged and a bedroom and his living room were ransacked. Police also realized someone tried to gain entry to a nearby apartment through a window.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman reported her minivan's passenger-side window broken while she was at Creekside Health & amp; Fitness Center, 1419 Boardman-Canfield Road. Her purse, $60 in cash and a $150 cellular phone were removed.
Criminal damaging: An employee at a Shell True North gas station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported $110 in damage had been done to a five-gallon soap container.
Drugs: While serving an arrest warrant to a man staying at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd., police arrested a North Lima man, 32, and a Youngstown woman, 20. She was charged with possession of cocaine; the man faced charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, and the warrant charged him with theft.
Arrest: After a man reported being struck in the mouth while at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road, police arrested a Poland man, 19, wanted on a warrant from Columbiana charging him with contempt of court.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 24-year-old man at his home in the 300 block of Mathews Road on a felony domestic-violence charge after his girlfriend claimed he assaulted her.
Feb. 21
Felonious assault: Youngstown police reported a Youngstown man was assaulted at a residence in the 50 block of Willow Drive. The man had a cut on his forehead.
Aggravated assault: A woman in the 7600 block of East Parkside Drive told police her daughter, 18, was assaulted at their residence. The victim suffered two chipped front teeth and her lower lip was swollen and bleeding.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 7000 block of West Boulevard reported someone used a key to cause $500 in damage to her car at her home.
Theft: An Austintown man reported a briefcase and two other items stolen from his car in the 1000 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Misuse of a credit card: A Youngstown woman reported her credit card had been fraudulently used at Lowe's, 1100 Doral Drive, and other Boardman businesses. She reported $1,349 worth of improper charges on it.
Vandalism: A Boardman man reported scratches on his vehicle's paint that had been made in an unknown location.
Breaking and entering: A Canfield man reported someone broke into his Boardman Boulevard business through a garage and stole 200 catalytic converters valued at $10,000. He also noticed a phone line was cut and the garage door had been pried open.
Auto theft: A Hermitage, Pa., man reported his 1997 Cadillac DeVille missing from the Harvest Buffet parking lot, 267 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Domestic violence: A 35-year-old man was arrested at his Arlene Avenue residence and charged with domestic violence after a female family member claimed he assaulted her.
Theft: Police arrested a 42-year-old Masury man after an $85 pair of boots was reported stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: After a Boardman man reported his car had been broken into and a $400 in-dash CD player removed, police arrested a Boardman boy, 16, at Toys & quot;R & quot; Us, 317 Boardman-Canfield Road. No charges had been brought against the boy.
POLAND
Feb. 11
Arrest: After following a suspicious vehicle onto state Route 170, police arrested a Poland boy, 17, in the 500 block of North Main Street. He faced charges of underage consumption and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Feb. 12
Burglary: A woman returned to her home in the 10 block of Ohio Avenue and reported a door to her kitchen was open and that the kitchen was ransacked. A bracelet, $100 in change, a 24-inch gold chain, three prescriptions and other items were missing.
Misuse of a credit card: An Edna Street woman told police someone misused a credit card to obtain three to four orders for skin care products from her Internet business.
Feb. 21
Vandalism: A Youngstown woman left Sunrise Assisted Living on U.S. Route 224 and reported all four of her vehicle's tires had been flattened.
