Leigh Anne Vrabel, Shawn A. Israel are planning late October wedding

XAnnouncement is being made of the engagement of Leigh Anne Vrabel, 7713 Waverly St., Pittsburgh, and Shawn A. Israel, 889 North St., New Kensington, Pa.
The bride-elect, daughter of William and Sandra Vrabel, 721 Penhale Ave., Campbell, is a librarian at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. She earned a bachelor's degree in English at Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., a master's in English at Youngstown State University and a master's in library and information science at the University of Pittsburgh.
Max and Dolores Israel, 462 Canal St., Leechburg, Pa., are parents of the prospective groom. Mr. Israel is an on-air announcer for Clear Channel Broadcasting in Pittsburgh. He earned a bachelor's degree in general arts and sciences at Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa.
The couple will be married Oct. 22 during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at The Oaks Cinema in Oakmont, Pa., and will be honored afterward at a reception at the main branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Invitations will be issued.
