Suszczynski 60th anniversary to be celebrated

XSTRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Peter Suszczynski of Struthers will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 24 at home with their family.
Mr. Suszczynski and the former Lucy Santine were married Feb. 24, 1945, at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Brier Hill. They are members of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
The couple have two children, Pete Suszczynski Jr. of Beaver Township and Sandra Suszczynski of Struthers, and a granddaughter.
Prior to her marriage Mrs. Suszczynski was employed as a clerk in the yard goods department of the W.T. Grant Co. in downtown Youngstown.
Her husband retired in 1980 from the payroll department of Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. He is a veteran of World War II, having served as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Army Air Corps in North Africa and Italy.
