Warren McKinley Baseball and Softball will host winter clinics for 6- to 12-year-old baseball players and 7- to 14-year-old girl softball players at East Middle School, 1470 South Street SE. The 6- to 8-year-olds baseball clinic will be held at 5:30 and 7 p.m. today, Feb. 23, 25. The 9- to 12-year-old girls softball clinic will be held Feb. 19. Howland Athletic Club will hold registration for baseball and softball Thursday from 6:30-8:30 at the H.C. Mines Elementary School for children 5 and older. Registration will also be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Feb. 23 and Feb. 26. For information call (330) 856-7624.

Little Scrappers Baseball tryouts for players age 9-10 will be held on Saturday, Feb. 19 from Noon until 2 p.m. at All-Star Sports Baseball Academy, 8075 Southern Blvd., Boardman. Mount Union College softball team will host a pitcher/catcher and fielding clinic Feb. 20 from 1-4 p.m. inside the Timken Physical Education Building.
