MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade scored 13 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, including a jumper with 25.1 seconds remaining, and Miami beat San Antonio for the first time in more than three years. Wade hit five of his final seven shots, and added six assists and five rebounds to help Miami extend its winning streak to six games. Shaquille O'Neal added 27 points and seven rebounds. Manu Ginobili had 24 points for San Antonio, which shot 39.2 percent from the field.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Ben Gordon had 21 points and eight rebounds in a reserve role, and Chicago spoiled Kevin McHale's first game as Minnesota's coach. Latrell Sprewell scored 26 points for the Timberwolves, who have lost eight of nine games. Kevin Garnett had 23 points and 14 rebounds. McHale, Minnesota's vice president of basketball operations, took over the team Saturday after firing longtime friend Flip Saunders.

NEW YORK -- Tim Thomas got a lucky bounce on a 3-pointer from the corner as the final buzzer sounded, lifting New York past Charlotte. Thomas' shot was short, hit the iron and bounced 4 feet above the rim before caroming off the top of the backboard and dropping through to give New York just its fourth victory in its past 22 games. Jamal Crawford led New York with 23 points, and Stephon Marbury added 16. Jason Hart made 17 for the Bobcats.

TORONTO -- Chris Bosh had 26 points, and Rafer Alston scored 10 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter to help Toronto snap a four-game losing streak. Elton Brand had 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost five in a row to fall to 1-5 on their nine-game trip.

BOSTON -- Chris Webber had a triple-double by the third quarter, and Mike Bibby took over from there, scoring 14 of his 27 points in the fourth for Sacramento. Webber had 14 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists to help the Kings snap a four-game losing streak. He reached double figures in all three categories with 90 seconds remaining in the third for his fourth triple-double of the season and the 21st of his career. Raef LaFrentz scored 25 points for the Celtics.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Vince Carter scored 23 points and the Nets spoiled Kenyon Martin's return to New Jersey, holding Denver without a basket for nearly 11 minutes late in the first half and early in the second. The game was Martin's first in New Jersey since being traded to the Nuggets over the summer after the Nets decided not to match Denver's free-agent contract offer to the popular All-Star forward.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Stephen Jackson had 19 points and eight rebounds, and Fred Jones added 15 points to help Indiana overcome an off night from Jermaine O'Neal. O'Neal finished with 11 points and eight rebounds, connected on just four of 15 shots, and missed all six of his shots in the fourth quarter. Lorenzen Wright led Memphis with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Hedo Turkoglu and Steve Francis each scored 22 points to lead Orlando to its second victory in six games. A night after surrendering an NBA season-high 60 points to Philadelphia's Allen Iverson, Orlando gave up 48 to New Orleans' backcourt of Dan Dickau and J.R. Smith. Dickau had a career-high 28 points, making seven 3-pointers, and Smith had 20.

SEATTLE -- Dirk Nowitzki had 31 points and 11 rebounds, and Michael Finley added 23 points and a season-high 11 rebounds, leading Dallas past Seattle. The Mavericks snapped Seattle's five-game winning streak. The Sonics couldn't protect a 10-point lead in the final 5 minutes. Erick Dampier added 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Josh Howard had 10 points for Dallas, which trailed 90-80 with 4:40 to go.

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Jimmy Jackson hit a go-ahead shot in the lane with less than 20 seconds left in overtime and Phoenix overcame a second-half drought to tie San Antonio for the best record in the NBA. Joe Johnson led Phoenix with 23 points. Shawn Marion had 21 points and 16 rebounds, Quentin Richardson scored 21 and Steve Nash added 20 points and 12 assists as the Suns won for the ninth time in 11 games following a six-game losing streak.
