REGISTRATIONS
LOWELLVILLE
The district will continue its inter-district open enrollment policy for the 2005-2006 school year. Inter-district applications will be available at the K-12 School main office, 52 Rocket Place, beginning March 1, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Applications will be available on March 2-4, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Grades four, six and eight are closed.
ST. ROSE, GIRARD
Registration is continuing for kindergarten to eighth-grade from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, 61 E. Main St. Your child must be 5 before Sept. 30 to enter kindergarten or 6 before Sept. 20 to enter first grade.
The child's complete immunization record must be presented at school when registering. The child's birth and baptismal certificates, Social Security number and pastor's verification of parish membership are also necessary.
Registration fee is $50 and registrants for the kindergarten program must participate in and satisfactorily complete the kindergarten screening process that Feb. 18. School principal is Patricia Yacucci. For more information, call (330) 545-1163.
SOUTH RANGE
Kindergarten registration will be taken March 7-11. Parents of children who will be 5 before Sept. 30 may register over the phone and make an appointment for screening by calling the elementary school office at (330) 549-5578 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. that week. Students to be registered must be residents of the South Range School District.
CANFIELD
Registration for new students in kindergarten through fourth grade will be from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on April 7. Registration will take place at Hilltop Elementary School at 400 Hilltop Boulevard and at C.H. Campbell Elementary School at 300 Moreland Drive. Parents or guardians should register their children at the school they will attend. For more information, contact the schools.
MCDONALD
The next kindergarten registration for children coming to school in fall of this year is scheduled for 9:30 to 11 a.m. February 28.
Parents or guardians can register children by bringing birth certificates, immunization records, social security cards, and custody papers, if applicable, to the Roosevelt Elementary School cafeteria during those hours.
In addition, for those who have no older children in the school system, it will be necessary to show proof of residency.
This registration is for school district residents only. Open enrollment applications must go through the superintendent's office.
