Reception honors the Greens for 50th anniverary

BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Green of Boardman were honored Feb. 12 at a luncheon reception at A La Cart Catering in Canfield in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts were their children, Tina and Kevin Baker of Shelby Township, Mich.; Tracy and Mark Lucas of Frankfort, Ill.; and Tim and Deb Green of Beaver, Pa.; and their eight grandchildren.
Mr. Green and the former Mary Jane Collier were married Feb. 2, 1955, at First Baptist Church in Manchester, Ga.
He worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. for 39 years, retiring in 1993. Mrs. Green retired in 1994 as manager of the cafeteria at Center Middle School in Boardman Local School District.
The couple are members of Evangel Baptist Church.
