XAUSTINTOWN -- Jennifer Lynne Thomas, daughter of Vincent and Rosemary Thomas, 3715 Bryant Drive, and Bryan August Gerbasi, son of Augustine and Mary Gerbasi, 296 Grant St., Sharon, Pa., were married during a 12:30 p.m. ceremony Jan. 8 at St. Joseph Church.
The Rev. John Trimbur presided, and a reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman.
After spending their honeymoon in Atlantic City, N.J., the couple are living at 994 Collins Ave.
The bride wore a gown of silk and satin fashioned with cap sleeves and trimmed with pearls and Austrian crystals. The skirt extended to a chapel-length train.
Cherilynn Waldron of Niles served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrieann Novicky of Youngstown and Kelli Rebraca of Austintown, cousins of the bride, and Elaine Homa of McDonald. They wore periwinkle gowns. Flower girl was Jade Lelu Thomas of Austintown, her niece.
Serving as best man for his brother was John Gerbasi of Brookfield. Groomsmen were Craig Thomas of Austintown, the bride's brother, and Jason Rebraca and Chad Schenker, both of Austintown, her cousins.
Mrs. Gerbasi earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Youngstown State University and attended Ohio State University in Columbus. Her husband attended Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pa., and graduated as a registered nurse from Sharon Regional School of Nursing, Sharon, Pa.
