XATHENS, Ohio -- Denise A. Morris of Albany, Ohio, and Joseph C. Blair of Jackson were united in marriage during a 1 p.m. ceremony Jan. 15 at St. Paul Church.
Monsignor Patrick Gaughan officiated for the daughter of James and Carol Morris of Poland and the son of Betty Blair of Jackson and the late Joseph Blair, who had lived in Huntington, W.Va.
A reception was held afterward at the church.
The couple, who have postponed their wedding trip to Florida until March, are living in Albany.
A certified public accountant, the bride is an audit manager for the State Auditor's Office. She graduated from Youngstown State University.
The groom is co-owner of Star Recycling in Jackson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Serving as matron of honor was Shannon Spatara of Boardman, the bride's sister, and bridesmaid was Kristine Spatara of Boardman, her niece. They wore scarlet-wine dresses. Flower girls were Laurel, Melena and Brenna Cundy of Jackson, the groom's nieces.
Jeffery Blair performed the duties as best man for his brother.
