AGING DEPARTMENT
New, $100 fine for nursing homes that fail to complete a long-term care consumer guide survey
New, $500 fine for denying access to a nursing home to a state long-term care ombudsman.
Environmental Protection Agency:
Increased fee of $4.75 (up from $2) per ton of garbage dumped in landfills. Of the $2.75 increase, Department of Natural Resources would receive $1 for a recycling program.
AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT
New $5 per test fee for the department's equine infectious anemia testing.
Increased fee of $60 (up from $30) for inspections of commercial bakeries.
HEALTH DEPARTMENT
New, $1,750 hospice initial inspection fee.
Increased fee of $88 (up from $65) for swimming pool inspections.
STATE PUBLIC DEFENDER
New, $25 indigent application fee.
Increased fee of $25 (up from $15) for Ohio Legal Aid filing
PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT
Increased fee of $65.50 (up from $60) for divorce and dissolution filing.
Increased fee of $375 (up from $250) for a private investigator's license.
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES:
New, $100 fee for nuisance wildlife control operators.
New, $75 fee for a ginseng collecting permit.
Amount agencies expected to raise through new or increased fees: $56 million.
