WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- David Teague got Purdue started with four 3-pointers in the first half, and Carl Landry dominated the second half. Teague finished with a career-high 25 points, including five 3-pointers, and seven rebounds, while Landry had 15 of his 24 points in the second half. Purdue (6-15, 2-8) ended a two-game losing streak by winning for just the second time in 11 games. Penn State was led by Danny Morrissey, who scored all 15 of his points on 3-pointers. The Nittany Lions (7-15, 1-8) have now lost three straight and 10 of 11. They've also lost 29 straight Big Ten road games. Twice in the first 10 minutes, the Nittany Lions were called for 5-second calls while they ran their half-court offense. They drew a shot-clock violation in the second half, leading scorer and rebounder Aaron Johnson was held scoreless and had just five rebounds, and backup Brandon Hassell fouled out with 10 minutes left.
Northwestern 55, Minnesota 53
MINNEAPOLIS -- T.J. Parker scored 19 points, including the go-ahead pull-up jump shot with 0.9 seconds remaining, as Northwestern stormed back to beat a stunned Minnesota team. The Gophers led 50-40 with 4:03 left on Vince Grier's dunk. Grier, with 32 points, matched the career high he set in Saturday's win over Wisconsin.
Wisconsin 72, Iowa 69
MADISON, Wis. -- Kammron Taylor and Mike Wilkinson sparked No. 20 Wisconsin's comeback from a 13-point second-half deficit. Taylor, a sophomore, scored a career-high 26 points and Wilkinson added 20 points and four crucial blocks for the Badgers, who trailed 52-39 with 12:43 remaining.
