Feb. 1
Criminal damaging: A New Middletown woman noticed her vehicle's rear driver's-side window was shattered as she drove near U.S. Route 224 and state Route 170.
Feb. 4
Domestic violence: A 27-year-old Poland man was arrested on charges of felonious assault and domestic violence after a relative called police to report a woman in the 100 block of Cover Drive had been severely beaten. The suspect's wife was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. She was found with her eyes swollen shut and deep bruises and swelling around her neck and on both arms, and police noticed bloodstains on a portion of carpeting as well as blood smears on a wall.

Feb. 1
Drugs: Officers arrested a Canfield man, 20, in Boardman on one count each of possession of drug instruments, a misdemeanor and felony possession of heroin.
Arrest: Police arrested a 20-year-old Petersburg woman at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave., on charges of receiving stolen property and passing bad checks, both felonies, after an employee of the business reported receiving a bad check.
Arrests: After responding to a report of an assault between two siblings at a residence in the 1900 block of Brandon Avenue, police arrested a woman, 21, on a domestic-violence charge. She also was wanted on three warrants charging her with failure to appear on one count each of having no operator's license and leaving the scene of an accident, possession of drugs and a temporary permit violation. A boy, 17, also was arrested, although no charges had been brought against him. The woman was not injured in the assault.
Arrest: A 36-year-old woman was picked up at her Colwyn Court home on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of obstructing official business.
Drugs: Police arrested a 28-year-old Boardman man on two felony counts of trafficking in marijuana.
Drugs: A Youngstown man, 29, was apprehended at Miller Rod & amp; Gun, 5140 Youngstown-Poland Road. He was charged with felony trafficking in cocaine.
Burglary: A woman returned to her home in the 7400 block of West Boulevard and noticed someone had gained entry either through an unlocked window or by prying a main door. Ten DVDs, a speaker phone, a DVD player and five Sony PlayStation games were taken, for a loss of $430.
Identity theft: A Cleveland man discovered he was a victim when someone fraudulently provided false information to the Ohio State Highway Patrol near Midlothian Boulevard and South Avenue.
Theft: A Canfield woman reported her wallet containing numerous credit cards missing while she was at Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal simulation: An employee at Ace Diamond & amp; Jewelry, 7110 Market St., discovered someone presented five to six counterfeit mid-19th Century collectible coins.
Theft/misuse of a credit card: A Boardman woman discovered her wallet stolen while she was on U.S. Route 224. She later realized $232.31 worth of suspicious charges were applied to her Visa debit card, and that other credit cards were misused.
Theft: A Canfield woman reported a $1,200 gold chain stolen from her home in the 700 block of Cheriwood Court.
Assault: A New Middletown man had a bloody nose and a scratch under his eye after he was assaulted in the 7400 block of Southern Boulevard.
Theft: Someone removed an undetermined amount of clothing from Discount Dollar, 1280 Boardman-Poland Road.
Feb. 2
Recovered property: Officers located a stolen 1990 Buick Century in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court. The vehicle's steering column had been damaged.
Auto theft: A man in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court reported his 1995 Buick Century stolen.
Auto theft: A man discovered his 1993 Buick Century missing from his residence in the 7300 block of West Boulevard.
Criminal damaging: A Poland woman discovered finish on her vehicle's driver's side as well as on its fender and doors had been damaged in the 8500 block of South Avenue.
Theft: A Campbell woman reported three sets of earrings and a 14-karat gold chain stolen while she was at St. Elizabeth's in Boardman.
Theft: A woman noticed a $600 lens cover to her vehicle's fog light was removed from her car parked at the Southern Park Mall.
Feb. 3
Arrest: While conducting an investigation near U.S. Route 224 and Tiffany Boulevard, police arrested a 45-year-old Austintown woman they say provided false information. She was charged with one count of falsification.
Assault: A man reported being pushed as he intervened during an argument over the way a vehicle was parked at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Boardman-Poland Road. He was not injured.
Theft: A man reported his $400 cellular phone stolen while he was at Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Someone left a Shell True North station, 5135 Market St., and failed to pay for $20 worth of gasoline.
Criminal damaging: A Boardman woman told police an object was thrown at her vehicle as she drove on Glenwood Avenue. Her car's driver's-side mirror sustained $100 in damage.
Feb. 4
Bad checks: An employee at Wholesale Furniture, 8433 South Ave., reported a customer presented a $1,194 bad check to pay for furniture.
Theft: Someone failed to pay for $5 worth of gasoline at Country Fair Food Store, 7465 South Ave.
Theft: A Boardman woman reported her vehicle's rear license plate was removed at an unknown location.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Boardman woman said her son's girlfriend took the victim's 2003 Jeep Liberty without permission.
Assault: A man had a small cut on his left elbow after reporting he had been assaulted near a residence in the 4900 block of Brookwood Avenue.
Theft: A Boardman man reported a $225 leather coat and his wallet stolen while he was at a residence in the 90 block of Washington Boulevard.
Theft: Police arrested a 12-year-old Youngstown girl accused of stealing a $75 pair of shoes from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrests: During an investigation at a residence in the 100 block of Charles Avenue, police arrested an Austintown boy and a Boardman boy, both 16. One was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and underage consumption of alcohol; no charges had been filed against the other boy.
Domestic violence: A man, 35, was arrested at his home in the 600 block of Angiline Drive on a domestic-violence charge after a woman reported being a victim there. She was not hurt.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 54-year-old Boardman woman near Market Street and McClurg Road. She faced a domestic-violence charge after a Rogers man reported being a victim while he was in a car traveling near U.S. Route 224 and Market Street. He was not injured.
Theft: Police arrested a 42-year-old Youngstown man after three gift packs of cologne valued at a total of $115 were taken from Sears.
Feb. 5
Arrest: A Youngstown man, 42, was arrested in the 700 block of East Midlothian Boulevard after an employee at Splash & amp; Shine Auto Bath, 869 E. Midlothian Blvd., told police he was improperly soliciting customers there. Officers said the suspect also refused to provide information about his identity and that he threatened a police officer with physical harm.
Assault: Police arrested a 22-year-old Youngstown woman on an assault charge after an employee at Wet Seal in the Southern Park Mall reported being assaulted. The worker had cuts and bruises on her left eye and on both sides of her neck. The suspect also was wanted on a warrant charging her with contempt of court.
Identity fraud: A Boardman woman discovered $238 worth of suspicious charges on two debit cards that had been improperly used at Sears.
Theft: A Farrell, Pa., woman reported her purse containing $250 in cash was stolen while she was at Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: An employee at Little Treasures Child Care Center, 5701 Market St., discovered her purse stolen from a break room.
Theft: A Brookfield woman reported the theft of her purse while she shopped at the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman called police after noticing $167 missing from her residence in the 30 block of Indianola Road.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman discovered damage to her car's passenger-side door after someone broke in and removed 20 containers of makeup and perfume and a black tote bag while she was at The Blue Wolf Tavern, 1295 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Burglary: A man in the 700 block of Maple Avenue reported a first-floor rear door as well as two other doors at his home had been forced open. Damage to the three doors was estimated at $650, and the victim discovered someone cut outside wiring.
Aggravated menacing: A Boardman man told police he had been threatened with a baseball bat in the Creekside Health & amp; Fitness Center parking lot, 1419 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Burglary: A man reported someone kicked in the front door to his residence in the 1700 block of Lealand Avenue. A $500 gold wristwatch, a 20-gauge shotgun and other firearms were taken, for a loss of about $1,725.
Feb. 6
Arrest: A 47-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Denny's Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road, on a warrant charging him with menacing.
Theft: An employee at Diamond Car Care Center Inc., 6106 South Ave., reported the theft of five keys.
Robbery: A Mathews Road woman told police she was robbed of $1,800 while she was near Rush Boulevard and Annawan Drive.
Theft: An employee at PondScape Ponds, Streams & amp; Waterfalls, 40 Boardman-Poland Road, discovered a commercial trailer with various tools, supplies and equipment had been stolen. The loss was around $40,000.
Criminal damaging: An employee at the Microtel Inn, 7393 South Ave., called police after a customer damaged two rooms.
Burglary: A man reported someone entered his home in the 10 block of Homestead Drive. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Theft: A customer drove away from Country Fair Food Store without paying for $13.55 worth of gasoline.
Criminal damaging: A Warren man discovered a company vehicle's window broken while he was at a residence in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue. Damage was $200.
Theft: A Boardman man reported several credit cards, his driver's license and wallet stolen from his car while he was at a residence in the 8000 block of Deerpath Drive.
