Glick's 17 powers Slippery Rock to victory

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Mason Glick scored 17 points and handed out seven assists, leading Slippery Rock to a 60-56 victory over California (Pa.) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-West game on Monday.
Bill Johnson and Brandon Thompson added 12 points apiece for The Rock (5-17, 3-4), while Jason Bratten scored 11.
Boris Mesnager scored 24 points and had 11 rebounds for CUP (12-8, 2-4).
Women
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Allyson Clarke had 19 points and 10 rebounds, leading Geneva to a 64-47 win over Ursuline.
Jen Rawding added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Golden Tornadoes (11-11), while Ruth Dobos had 10 points, making all five of her shots.
Ursuline (2-24) was led by Lisa Piechowski with 11 points and Kate McCray with 10.
California (Pa.) 51, Slippery Rock 46
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Stacey Green scored 12 points and had seven rebounds for Slippery Rock (7-15, 1-6 PSAC-West). Amber McFeely had nine assists.
Sara McKinney scored 17 points for CUP (18-4, 6-1).
