XYOUNGSTOWN -- Jacquelyn Hritz of Garfield Heights and Benjamin Kucia of Brooklyn Heights, exchanged marriage vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Dec. 31 at St. Columba Cathedral.
Afterward a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman honored the daughter of John Hritz, 2841 Poland Village Blvd., Poland, and the late Joanne Hritz and the son of Edward and Judy Kucia of Brooklyn Heights.
The couple live at 9500 S. Highland Ave., Garfield Heights, after spending their honeymoon at Aruba.
The bride is a speech language pathologist for Progressive Step Rehabilitation Services in Streetsboro. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in speech language pathology at Cleveland State University.
The groom, a graduate of Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y., with a bachelor's in business management, is a sales manager for Cintas Corp. in Painesville. He is also an assistant varsity football coach at Cuyahoga Heights High School.
The bride wore a silk-satin gown fashioned with a strapless bodice trimmed with pearled embroidery, and a skirt accented with a side pleat and extending to an attached train.
Jennifer Hritz was maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Carrie Clyde , Kristine Harrison, Kimberly Columbo, Keirsten Madden and Jennifer Sciano. They wore black gowns.
Christopher Schuckert served as best man, and groomsmen were Brian Kucia, the groom's brother, and David Suhy, Michael Suhy, Marc Lowther and Albert Martin.
