BATON ROUGE, La. -- Sylvia Fowles had 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead LSU. Fowles shot 7-for-8 from the field and 10-for-14 from the line and finished with her sixth double-double of the season and the 18th of her career. Quianna Chaney scored a career-high 18 points in a reserve role for LSU (10-0), and Seimone Augustus added 11 points. Scholanda Hoston had 10 points and became the 25th player in school history to score 1,000. Jessica Dickson, the nation's leading scorer, finished with 11 points, well below her 26-point average. Shantia Grace led South Florida (10-3) with 16 points, and Ezria Parsons added 14.
No. 6 Maryland 92, Furman 58
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Shay Doron scored 18 of her 26 points in the decisive first half, and Maryland cruised to its eighth straight victory, beating Furman in the championship game of the Terrapin Classic. Crystal Langhorne scored 17 and Marissa Coleman added 16 for the Terrapins (12-1), who limited Furman to 8-for-28 shooting while building a 44-20 halftime lead. Chrissy Phelps scored 10 points for Furman (5-6).
No. 9 Rutgers 63, No. 19 Texas 49
PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Cappie Pondexter scored 22 points and Matee Ajavon had 17 as Rutgers rebounded from its only loss of the season for the win. The Longhorns (6-4), playing their third ranked opponent this season, kept it close thanks to freshman guard Erika Arriaran, who scored 10 of her 13 points in the first half.
No. 10 Michigan St. 75, Cent. Mich. 50
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Victoria Lucas-Perry scored 16 points and Liz Shimek added 14 to lead Michigan State to its 19th straight home victory. Lucas-Perry also had six assists and four steals in her fourth straight game with 14 points or more for the Spartans (10-3). Freshman reserve Lauren Aitch had a career-high 12 points and five rebounds in 16 minutes. Casey Manning led the Chippewas (9-2) with 15 points, seven assists and six steals but committed eight turnovers. Chasidy Myers had 12 points.
No. 21 Vanderbilt 92, William & amp; Mary 66
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Caroline Williams scored 21 points -- all on 3-pointers -- to lead Vanderbilt. Liz Sherwood added 18 points, Tina Wirth had 13 and Rachel Brockman 10 for the Commodores, who finished with 14 3-pointers, one short of the school record. Kyra Kaylor led William & amp; Mary with 19 points, and Jalen Boone added 11. Williams hit six of Vanderbilt's nine 3s in the opening period as the Commodores (10-3) took a 47-24 halftime lead. Overall, Vanderbilt hit 17 of 31 shots from the floor in the first half. William & amp; Mary (4-5) missed 10 of its first 11 shots and trailed 14-2 less than 7 minutes into the game. From there, the Tribe never trailed by less than 10 the rest of the game.
No. 17 Georgia 81, Tennessee-Martin 47
MARTIN, Tenn. -- Cori Chambers scored 29 points and Sherill Baker added 21, leading Georgia. Georgia (9-3) led the entire game, jumping out to 38-18 lead at the half. Chambers made 6-of-8 3-pointers and had a team-high nine rebounds. No other Lady Bulldogs scored in double digits. Andreika Jackson had 18 points and Kimberly Cox scored 10 to lead Tennessee Martin (3-6). Jackson and Deina Willingham each had nine rebounds. Georgia outrebounded the Lady Skyhawks 37-29, and scored 21 points off 18 turnovers. Tennessee-Martin took some advantage of Georgia's 22 fouls, especially in the second half when they made 11-of-16 from the line.
