NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Senior guard Mark DeMonaco (New Castle) posted game-high totals of 35 points (including eight 3-pointers) and seven assists as the Westminster men's basketball team overcame a 15-point deficit to post a 94-89 non-conference win over NAIA member Ottawa (Kan.) University at the South Padre Island Shootout in South Padre Island, Tex.
Freshman center Steve Bielich added 17 points, seven rebounds and four blocks for the Titans (3-7). Senior guard Brian Fadden (Mohawk) added 12 points.
Jacob Eaton paced Ottawa (4-9) with a team-high 22 points.
Marietta 90, Grove City 81
MARIETTA -- Five Grove City College men's basketball players scored in double figures in a losing effort in the semifinals of the Marietta Shrine Tournament at Ban Johnson Field House.
Junior forward Craig Hallman led Grove City with career-highs in points (20) and rebounds (10).
Lycoming College 94, Thiel 75
WOOSTER -- Thiel freshman James Beedle (McDonald) had 23 points, six steals and four assists in the opening round of the College of Wooster's "Mose" Hole/Kiwanis Tournament. Jonathan Pribble led the Warriors (7-4) with 30 points and 14 rebounds.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Hiram senior Rick Baldwin (Boardman) had 13 points and sophomore Michael McDevitt (Lisbon) had six rebounds in a losing effort.
WomenWestminster 55, Seton Hill 47
GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Nicole Fee (Neshannock) tossed in 14 points and Talley Felger (Springfield) added 18 rebounds as Westminster improved to 2-9.
Rachel Eaton added 11 points, while Desiree Sterling (Newton Falls) had nine points and 11 rebounds.
Allegheny 83, Thiel 73
WESTERVILLE -- Freshman forward Amber Bodrick (Mooney) had a game-high 26 points and 13 rebounds to pace the Tomcats (2-9) in the opening round of the Smokey Ballenger "O" Club Classic.
Junior forward Nicole Valentino (Sharon) added 21 points and seven boards while junior forward Fontella Jones (Farrell) had 15 points and six rebounds. For Allegheny (6-5) Courtney Steding and Kristen Lyzen each had 12 points.
Colgate 75, Niagara 47
HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Freshman Katherine McGarry (Salem) had eight points and a season-high three assists for Colgate.
Colgate (2-8) was led by sophomore Melanie Cargle with 18 points.
Niagara (1-9) lost its seventh straight game.
