Rozenblad, Jackson carry Kennedy, 63-51

DARLINGTON, Pa. -- Blair Rozenblad had 22 points and David Jackson added 21 Wednesday as the Kennedy Catholic basketball team defeated host Blackhawk, 63-51, in the losers bracket of the Blackhawk Christmas Tournament. Rozenblad also pulled down 12 rebounds while Jackson was 11 of 16 from the foul line. Blackhawk had only Nick Cron in double figures with 10 points.
Johnstown-Monroe 77, Shenango 58
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Shenango played Hatboro-Horsham, Pa., at 10 a.m. today in the consolation game of the KSA Holiday Tournament at Disney World. Shenango's 15-13 first-quarter lead was wiped out when Johnstown-Monroe (O.) outscored Shenango in the second quarter, 27-11. Steve McNees had 33 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for Shenango (8-3) while Kyle Monceaux had 15 points and seven rebounds. Shenango was beaten on the boards, 42-27.
