Popovec leads Canfield victory

HUDSON -- Canfield's Kate Popovec had a career night, scoring 30 points and finishing with her third triple-double of the season as the visiting Cardinals defeated Hudson 59-52 Tuesday night.
Popovec also had 17 rebounds and 10 blocked shots for the Cardinals (5-3). Bryanne Halfhill was the only other Cardinal in double figures with 13 points.
Hudson (5-2) was led by Allison Freedman with 11 points.
