Parents announce Rafidi-Davis troth; wedding planned

XAnnounced by Yousef and Viviane Rafidi of Canfield and Thomas and Susan Davis of Youngstown is the engagement of their children, Christine Rafidi of Canfield and James C. Davis of Austintown.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and earned her master's in education at Walsh University in North Canton. She is a teacher at St. Luke School in Boardman.
The prospective groom, a deputy sheriff with Mahoning County Sheriff's Department, Youngstown, graduated from MTC Police Academy in Niles with Ohio Police Certification. He is the co-owner of American Limousine in Austintown.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 1:30 p.m. May 27, 2006, at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown. They will issue invitations for a reception to be held at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
