XBOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony Nov. 26 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park as Holly Lynn Popowicz and Daniel Albert Nettinger Jr., both of 5474 Shawnee Circle, Huntington, W.Va., were united in marriage by the Rev. Richard Judy.
Afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty, before leaving on a wedding trip to Las Vegas. They live in Huntington.
The bride is a daughter of Bonnie Popowicz, 1055 Yolanda Place, Austintown, and the groom's parents are Daniel Sr. and Kimberly Nettinger, 2891/2 S. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, Pa.
The bride's white strapless gown was designed with a beaded bodice and a tulle skirt. Her cathedral veil was gathered to a tiara, and she held a white fur muff adorned with red roses, pine and holly berries.
Serving as honor attendant was the bride's mother, who wore a black gown.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Jesse Nettinger of Sharon, Pa.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science, the bride is a call-center manager with Infocision Management Corp. in Gallipolis.
The groom served with the U.S. Navy from 1991 to 1995 and is a call-center supervisor with Infocision Management Corp. in Huntington.
