SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, activities are as follows: Jan. 3, diabetic clinic and soup and sandwiches at 12:15 p.m., Karen Brooks will speak on medicines and home delivery and Dr. Robert Shellito will speak on foot care, bingo to follow from 1 to 3, reservations required; Jan. 4, Ohio Star Quilters meeting from 10 a.m. to noon is open to anyone interested in quilting; and Jan. 4 and 5, Red Hatters meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The following trips are open to the public: Carousel Dinner Theater production of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," on Jan. 18, cost is $66; and casino excursion to Rising Sun, Indiana Grand Victoria at the Hyatt, Jan. 23 and 24, cost is $75 with $30 cash back. Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Wednesday, 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight Support Group and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., blood pressure screening at 10:30, square dancing at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 3; and Friday, center is open for information and referral.
