Law forbids feeding deer

SOLON, Ohio (AP) -- Anyone caught feeding deer in this Cleveland suburb while the city is trying to cull the herd can be charged with a misdemeanor and face fines and jail time.
The law was enacted by the city council this week to aid sharpshooters hired to bait and kill deer. The sharpshooters complained earlier this year that the feeding of deer lured the animals from baited areas.
