ROUNDUP Wednesday's games

Islanders 4, Devils 2
UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Mike York had a goal and two assists, and Jason Blake scored in his return from a concussion to lift the New York Islanders to a 4-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils. Blake missed two games after his scary crash into the boards eight days earlier, but the U.S. Olympic forward had New York's first two shots against Martin Brodeur -- Team Canada's top goalie -- and put the Islanders ahead less than three minutes into the game. York also scored unassisted in the second period to snap a 1-1 tie, and Trent Hunter had two goals in the third period -- the only ones in the game not netted by an American. New Jersey has lost seven of nine. Rick DiPietro, who likely will get the bulk of the work for the United States at the Turin Olympics, made 25 saves. DiPietro was pulled in New York's 9-6 loss to Toronto on Monday after allowing six goals.
Predators 6, Blackhawks 1
CHICAGO -- Paul Kariya and Vernon Fiddler had two goals each, and rookie defenseman Ryan Suter scored his first NHL goal to lead Nashville. Yanic Perreault had a goal and an assist for Nashville, which has won four straight. Chris Mason had 26 saves for the Predators. Matthew Barnaby had the lone goal for the Blackhawks, who have lost four of five. Chicago starting goalie Nikolai Khabibulin was pulled midway through the second period after allowing four goals on 11 shots. Khabibulin, who was replaced by Craig Anderson, was lifted in a game for the second time this season. Anderson allowed two goals on 20 shots.
