KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Shanna Zolman scored 23 points and Tye'sha Fluker had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead Tennessee (10-0), which shot 59.7 percent from the floor, hit 11-of-15 shots from 3-point range and outrebounded Princeton 52-22. Princeton (6-4) shot 29.3 percent from the floor and was 4-of-23 from 3-point range. Alexis Hornbuckle and Dominique Redding had 12 points each and Sidney Spencer had 11 for the Lady Vols. Candace Parker led the team with 10 rebounds. Becky Brown scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting for Princeton in its first game against the Lady Vols. It was Princeton coach Richard Barron's return to Knoxville, where he attended middle school and high school and where his parents reside.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Seimone Augustus scored 20 points, Sylvia Fowles added 19 and No. 3 LSU pulled away in the second half against Tulane. Augustus missed five of her first six shots from the field, then went 6-for-9. Fowles was 9-of-15 from the field with 10 rebounds and the Lady Tigers (8-0) let their frontcourt stars rest the final 12 minutes with the game in hand. Freshman Sasha Staidum led Tulane (4-2) with a season-high 13 points.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Ivory Latta had 22 points and eight assists as North Carolina stayed unbeaten with a victory over Vanderbilt. The Tar Heels (11-0) are off to their best start since the 1994-95 season when they were 18-0. Latta, playing in her native state, had three layups to kick start a 19-2 first-half run that gave North Carolina the lead for good. Camille Little had 14 points and Rashanda McCants, the sister of former Tar Heel Rashad McCants, added 13 for North Carolina. Christina Wirth, Cherish Stringfield and Nicole Jules led the Commodores with 11 points each.
No. 14 DePaul 96, Loyola of Chicago 48
CHICAGO -- Khara Smith scored 17 points and Caprice Smith added 12 to lead DePaul to an easy victory over winless Loyola of Chicago. The Blue Demons (11-1) are off to their best start ever. They were 10-1 in 1985-86 and 2003-04. Khara Smith grabbed 10 rebounds for the Blue Demons and Erin Carney led the team with five assists. Allie Quigley added 11 points for DePaul, which was 35-for-71 from the floor and led 48-27 at the half. Danielle Lonie led the Ramblers (0-10) with 10 points, and Marquise Hanser added nine.

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Katie Gearlds had 15 points and Purdue beat Mississippi State in the championship game of the Mississippi State Classic. Erin Lawless added 14 points and Natasha Bogdanova had 11 rebounds for the Boilermakers (8-2), who led 35-12 at halftime and went on to win their fourth straight. Marneshia Richard led the Bulldogs (4-7) with 12 points.
Louisiana Tech 84, No. 24 Mississippi 71
RUSTON, La. -- Tasha Williams scored 21 points and Ty Moore added 20 as Louisiana Tech snapped Mississippi's six-game winning streak. Mississippi (9-2) was playing its first game since moving into The Associated Press Top 25. Tech (6-3) rebounded from an 83-59 thrashing at the hands of No. 1 Tennessee. Armintie Price led Ole Miss with 21 points and Carle Bartee added 13.
