School board votes to rename facility
LOWELLVILLE -- The village school board voted unanimously Tuesday to rename its new school facility the Lowellville K-12 School, Ralph Conti Campus.
The street on which the school sits also is named after the late Ralph Conti, a 39-year board member. He was a lifelong resident of Lowellville and 1952 graduate of its school system, and all of Conti's children and grandchildren also attended Lowellville schools, board members said.
Conti and his wife, Celia, donated the land on which the school was built.
