Hubbard scores 48-35 TAC win



Liberty beat Champion 54-46 in another Trumbull Athletic Conference game.
HUBBARD -- Kodi Brenner scored 13 points to lead the Hubbard High girls basketball team to a 48-35 win over Newton Falls in a Trumbull Athletic Conference game on Monday.
Brittany Bullock added nine points, while Jackie Dach was the top scorer for the Tigers with nine points all coming on 3-point goals.
Liberty 54, Champion 46
LIBERTY-- Ashley White scored 18 points and Michelle Dykes 14 to spark Liberty (5-2, 3-0 Trumbull Athletic Conference).
Ashley Haas had 16 points, Elizabeth Ghindia 14 and Hillary Beachy 11 to pace Champion (4-3, 2-1).
Rayen 87, Wilson 12
YOUNGSTOWN -- Rayen senior Danielle Liggens had 33 points, six rebounds, six steals and two assists and sophomore Brittney Taylor added 27 points, 10 rebounds, 11 steals and four assists for the Tigers (4-2) in a Steel Valley Conference game. Junior Tieara Jones added 10 points, eight rebounds, 11 steals, and eight assists
For Wilson (0-6), Marcinda North had six points.
North Canton Hoover 83,Howland 52
NORTH CANTON -- Britiany Orban had 30 points and 10 rebounds to power North Canton Hoover (4-2), which snapped Howland's undefeated streak.
Amber Witt added 22 points and Steph Gibson 13 for Hoover.
Ellie Shields scored 20 points and Alexa Williams 18 points to lead Howland (5-1), while Melissa Airhart added eight rebounds and six points.
Mineral Ridge 67, Lordstown 18
MINERAL RIDGE -- Rachael Siler had 21 points and 12 rebounds while Abbey Kiger added 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Mineral Ridge (2-5).
Heather Reinhart contributed six rebounds, four points, three assists and two steals to aid the Rams.
Heather Wickline had five points for Lordstown.
Sharon 59, Lakeview (Pa.) 53
SANDY VALLEY, Pa. -- Brittany Csatloss scored 23 points to pace Sharon (7-1). Janine McDonald added 12 rebounds and eight points.
Sheena Aden poured in 25 points to spark Lakeview, while Cami Frye added 11 points and Chelsea Greggs eight rebounds and five points.

Sharpsville 69, Laurel 54
SHARPSVILLE -- Josh Fyffe had 19 points and R.J. Golub 16 to lead Sharpsville. Jarryd Summers added seven rebounds and five points.
Corey Collins scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Tyler Womer had 10 points for Laurel.
