Eagles record fourth victory



A strong start powered Youngstown Christian past Campbell, 49-31.
CAMPBELL -- The Youngstown Christian High girls basketball team took a 16-0 lead and cruised to a 49-31 win over Campbell on Monday.
Rachel Coristin scored eight of her 16 points in the first quarter for the Eagles (4-1) and finished with 10 rebounds.
Kara Cooper added 13 points and Danielle Pecchia had 12 points and five assists.
Dana Moore had 10 points for Campbell (1-6).
Sophia Brown had seven points and eight rebounds.
Columbiana 87, Wellsville 48
WELLSVILLE -- Katie Douglas scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace Columbiana (6-2).
Krista Johnson added 20 points, nine assists and six steals for Columbiana, while Kristina Davidson chipped in with 16 points and Colleen Eisenbraun with 13.
Wellsville was led by Jasmine Richardson with 23 points, nine rebounds and seven steals.
Mathews 59, Maplewood 46
VIENNA -- Laura Wise scored all eight of her points in the fourth quarter to spark Mathews in a Northeastern Athletic Conference game.
Sarah King and Lauren Roscoe each had 14 points for the Mustangs (4-2, 1-0), who outscored the Rockets 25-16 in the final period. Sophie Paddock added seven points and nine rebounds.
Leah Dean had 17 points to lead Maplewood (4-2, 1-1).
Southeast 68, Alliance 46
RAVENNA -- Hannah Harnar scored 19 of her 22 points in the first 16 minutes when the Pirates took a 43-28 lead.
Rebbecca Lewis added 11 points and Lindsay Speidel had 10 more for Southeast.
