XBoardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 5 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman. Elmer Haidle will preside, and the topic of wills will be discussed by the guest speaker, Judge Timothy P. Maloney of the Mahoning County Probate Court. The cost is $12.50, and the meal will be a choice of stuffed chicken breast or perch francaise. Reservations must be made by Dec. 29 by sending a check indicating the menu choice to Helen Day, 543 W. Glen Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, or call (330) 782-2816. Anniversaries and birthdays will be observed, and dues of $4 will be collected for 2006. Guests and new members are welcome.

XHoly Family Seniors will meet for the annual Christmas party on Monday at the K. of C. Hall in Poland. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and a buffet will be served at 12:30 p.m. There will be a 50-50 drawing, bingo, cards and a free gift raffle. Due to the large response, reservations are closed.
