Dahlia society holds installation of officers

CANFIELD -- Harriet Chandler was installed as president of the Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society during a holiday banquet Dec. 9 at A La Cart Catering.
Serving with her will be Randy Foith, vice president; Joyce Habeger, secretary; and Jim Chuey, treasurer. Sharon Mika will coordinate public relations for the society.
June and Friends provided entertainment.
The dahlia society, which is three years old, meets the second Sunday of the month at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Its purpose is to promote the growing and showing of dahlias.
