Sewing guild seats new slate of officers

NILES -- Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild held its annual holiday party and installation of officers Dec. 3 at Ciminero's.
Taking office were Virginia Hardman, president; Barbara Rosier-Tryon, first vice president; Lenore Antonelli, second vice president; Jenny Roberts, treasurer; and Effie Welch, secretary.
Barb Springer won an ornament challenge, which raised over $300 to benefit local charities.
