Youngstown Links holds luncheon

HOWLAND -- Youngstown Chapter Links Inc. held its Christmas gift-giving luncheon Dec. 4 at the Chop House Pavilion.
Recipients of this year's toys and gifts were Operation Learning Community Program Inc. and Heart Reach Ministries. To date, more than 700 toys have been donated to various organizations.
Entertainment was provided by the Nevels Sisters, gospel recording artists, and Brianna Lockett, who presented an interpretive oration.
Joan Boyd and Margaret Person were co-chairwomen Mary E. Patterson is club president.
The organization, chartered Dec. 3, 1955, recently marked its 50th anniversary. It provides services in the areas of the arts, cultural and entertaining programming, education and health care, health and fitness and services to youth.
