South Side woman robbed in her driveway

YOUNGSTOWN -- A South Side woman was robbed when she returned to her residence shortly after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The 23-year-old West Warren Avenue woman told police that as she got out of her vehicle, a man came up her driveway, told her not to turn around and demanded money. The woman gave the robber about $700, a police report shows.
The victim said the man's voice sounded familiar and that he addressed her by name. After the robbery, the woman heard a car pull up and the robber got in, the report says.
The victim did not see a weapon, police said. She also was unable to provide a description of the robber and the car because she didn't turn until after he left, the report says.
