Youngstown man accused of fleeing

YOUNGSTOWN -- Municipal Judge Robert P. Milich set bond at $12,500 for a Broadway Avenue man accused of receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding and possessing counterfeit controlled substances.
John Houser II, 20, is accused of speeding away when police attempted to pull him over during a traffic stop on East Avondale Avenue on Sunday night, according to police reports.
Houser and a passenger bailed from the vehicle on East Florida Avenue, and Houser later was found hiding under a car, the report shows. No information was provided about the passenger or the search for that person.
Officers discovered that the car was listed as stolen from Warren. They also found five bags of soap, which appeared similar to crack cocaine packaged for distribution, according to the report.
