XAKRON -- The Rev. Gregory Salomone solemnized the marriage of Kerri Blasko and Jack Gibson at 2 p.m. Nov. 5 at St. Bernard Catholic Church.
A reception was held at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn to honor the daughter of Michael and Rita Blasko, 129 LaBelle Ave., Youngstown, and the son of Jack and Cynthia Gibson, 2499 Graham Road, Stow.
After a wedding trip to Barbados and Pettit St. Vincent in the Caribbean, the couple live at 923 Chestnut Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls.
Beads and embroidery enhanced the bride's mock two-piece A-line gown. It featured a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train.
Wearing frappuccino-colored gowns were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Joy Dunn, and the bridesmaids, Alison and Molly Blasko, her sisters; Kimberly Lisko; Maria Riley; Michelle Gill; Lauren Wilson, and the groom's cousin, Kristy Lego. The bride's sister and junior bridesmaid ,Theresa Blasko, wore a mocha gown.
Hugh Ickes was best man, and groomsmen were Christopher and Ryan Gibson, the groom's brothers; Alan Zielinski; Brian Scheck; and the bride's brothers, Michael, Gregory and Scott Blasko.
The bride, a registered nurse at Summa Health System in Akron, graduated from Kent State University.
Mr. Gibson is an officer/architect with National City Bank in Strongsville. He attended John Carroll University.
