CHRISTINE WHITEFORDMICHAEL MATTESSICH
XHUBBARD -- Christine Whiteford and Michael Mattessich, both of 25 S. Hartford Ave., Youngstown, were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony Nov. 12 at St. Patrick Church.
The daughter of Tom and Karen Whiteford, 3375 Franklin Ave., and the son of Sal and Vickie Mattessich, 7005 Thornton Road, exchanged nuptial vows in the presence of the Rev. Timothy O'Neill.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Willow Creek in Girard before leaving for a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui. They live at the Hartford Avenue address.
The bride's white satin gown was embellished with pearls and sequins, and featured long sleeves and a cathedral train.
Red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Laurie Wolfe, and the bridesmaids, Leigh Ann Baskey and Shannon Baldwin, the bride's cousins, and Tammie Cullumbine. Flower girl was the groom's daughter, Celina Mattessich.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Richard Mattessich, and groomsmen were Ed Aeppli, Mike Myers and the bride's brother, Michael Whiteford. Serving as ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Anton Whiteford.
The bride earned an associate degree in computer-aided drafting at ITT Technical Institute, Youngstown, and is an engineer with Roemer Industries in Masury. The groom received an associate in electronic technology at ITT.
