Adam Barta had 258-279-300 -- 837 in Spiech Classic at Bell-Wick on Nov. 28.
John Demetruk's 782 in UAW 1112-Lucianno's Restaurant Men at Wedgewood on Nov. 16 was 197 pins over his average for a series.
Tom Dama had a 10-pin tap and missed a 300 game during Triple A League action at A-Plus Family on Dec. 1, when John Cambert had 11 in a row from the second frame on to get 278.
John Larson had 300 in Longhorn Steakhouse at Boardman on Nov. 30.
Carmen Saborse and Chris Gonzalez had 11-in-a-row 290s on back-to-back weeks in UAW 1112-Lucianno's Restaurant Men at Wedgewood on Nov. 16 and 23, respectively.
Sue Mineo had Wedgewood Ladies Trio League-high 769 on Nov. 29, while she and Teri Haefke shared high-game honors with 279s. Haefke and Nancy Goodman had the night's second-best three-game set of 721.
Paula Pecorelli's 701 led Lucianno's Restaurant Mixed at Wedgewood on Nov. 12.
Michelle High had 614 and 652 series on successive weeks in Jednota Mixed at Holiday on Nov. 20 and Nov. 27, respectively.
First period winners of UAW 1112-Lucianno's Restaurant Men's League were: (Division I) -- North Jackson Hydraulics with Randy Casterline, Ron Evans II, Chip Learn, Dwayne Learn, Todd Learn and Tony Sciarra and (Division II) -- Big Bob's Bail Bonding with Bob Backus, Tony Boggs, Rick Butler, Bob Cregar, Daryl Moses and Nick Terbovich.
Montgomery Auto Body won Tri-County Classic's first trimester at Holiday with team members: Mike Montgomery, Matt Pavlich, Rob DelSignore, George Dubos, Sam Mazzupappa Jr., John Beard and Dave Wilkos.
Parker benefit
NILES -- A benefit for 39-year-old heart surgery patient Shawn Parker will be Dec. 18 at McKinley Lanes from 2-5 p.m.
Cost is $10 per person for three games. Bowler sponsors are also sought for $2 a game or five-cents a pin as well as monetary donations.
The 39-year-old Parker of Youngstown had ICD surgery (pacemaker/defibrillator) at Forum North Side Hospital before Thanksgiving.

YBA city tournament
YOUNGSTOWN -- Entries for the Youngstown Bowling Association's 74th annual city tournament are available at area establishments.
The event, open to all YBA members, runs from Jan. 20-29 at Bell-Wick (team) and Camelot (singles-doubles).
Cost is $17 per event and all-events optional for $2.
Divisions are upper and lower: for team (over 1000/under 999), for doubles (over 400/under 399) and for singles (over 200/under 199).
Date for close of entries is Jan. 13.
