Show to feature holiday dance, music

CANFIELD -- Get into the spirit of the season by attending Move Over Broadway's holiday production, "Christmas Is Coming," at 7 p.m. Dec. 17-18 at St. Michael Church, state Route 46 (281 Glenview Road).
"Christmas Is Coming" features Advent and Christmas music, liturgical dance, pageantry and narration from scripture in a theatrical setting. The cast includes 20 adults and eight children, who are accompanied by an eight-piece orchestra.
Director of the ecumenical service, which is suitable for all ages, is Marlene Menaldi Strollo. Music director is Jodine Pilmer and choreographer is Nick Opritza. Glenn Stevens, WFMJ Channel 21 newscaster, will narrate.
The production will benefit the St. Michael Family Life Center Building Fund and is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken. A 50/50 drawing will take place at intermission. Refreshments will follow the Sunday performance.
