EXCERPT

Shakespeare's "Hamlet":
To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?
In "Hamlet in the Hood," the soliloquy is delivered as Hamlet gets drunk to try to forget his worries about his murdered father, his mother's upcoming remarriage and arguments with his girlfriend. An excerpt from his rap:
I am sweating even though things are cold to me
I feel like my soul is not feelin' me
Can't I figure out what is wrong with me?
