Christmas party thrills many young participants

Sharing his joy Tuesday was Debbie Biastro, educational assistant at the Leonard Kirtz School in Austintown. Getting up close to Santa (Lions Club member Ed Brant of Poland) was Steven Young, 10, of Youngstown. Steven is a third-grader at Eagle Heights Academy in Youngstown. In its 85th year, the party served about 113 visually impaired and special needs pupils from Leonard Kirtz, Eagle Heights and Youngstown City Schools and clients of Goodwill. Y-Town Tunes provided entertainment.
