Motorcyclist killed on U.S. Route 224

BOARDMAN -- A man was killed Monday after a car struck his motorcycle on U.S. Route 224.
Phillip Snyder, 28, of Lowellville, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center after the 2:35 p.m. accident, where he died, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Canfield post.
The patrol said Snyder was hit by a car that was leaving a private drive near Mill Creek Park and trying to turn west. The driver was Sandra Kneisley, 66, of Grafton.
Charges are pending against her, the patrol said.
